SOME HEADLINE POLICIES

  1. All inherited privileges to be abolished, ie. inherited title, inherited function, inherited property and inherited wealth. There will be no exceptions. On death, the estate of the deceased will revert to the State and the proceeds from it's sale will go to the Exchequer. Inherited, unmerited wealth is designed to give the inheritor an unjust advantage, it corrupts the inheritor. Inheritance is a relic of Old Feudalism perpetuated in New Variant Feudalism. (This policy isn't loopy. In Japan, Death Duties are supposed to be 100% but loopholes allow it to be evaded, apparently).
  2. To make the above effective, it will be necessary to exercise strict control over the giving of gifts, their value, their number and the entitlement of the recipients. The giving of valuable gifts is another corrupt method of transferring wealth to people who haven't earned or merited it. It will also be necessary to prevent people, particularly the elderly, disposing of their wealth in ways that are destructive, wasteful of asset value or otherwise anti-social. This might be achieved by limiting annual expenditure to a value similar to the limit on annual income (see 7. below).
  3. Everybody to receive their income on the same basis, probably the current PAYE system, so that everybody is treated equally and the scope for tax fraud will be greatly reduced. Those who are self-employed will have to operate as a company, their income will be paid to them by the company on a PAYE basis from the proceeds of the company. Any surplus will have to be invested in expansion of the company or as a reserve fund in case of future difficulties.
  4. The tax system to be simplified so that everybody can understand it, opportunities for tax fraud are reduced and the cost of running the system is also drastically reduced. Anybody with complicated financial affairs will have to pay the Inland Revenue the full cost of ensuring that these affairs are in order. To reduce opportunities for tax and other fraud still further, the elimination of cash as soon as possible will be an objective of the Party. All financial services companies may be nationalised so that everybody's financial affairs can be monitored to ensure that cheats and crooks are detected.
  5. Gambling on the Stock and other markets will be stopped in order to stabilise the financial system as far as possible. Private individuals will only be allowed to invest in aggregate funds similar to unit trusts, experts will decide which businesses receive the invested money according to national priorities and strict risk management rules.
  6. A high priority will be given to trying to find ways of saving British industry from destruction by competition from the Far East and Eastern Europe etc.
  7. There will be a top limit on the annual income received by any individual. This limit is likely to be equal to the salary of the Prime Minister of the country since the Prime Minister's function is almost certainly more demanding and carries more responsibility than anyone else's. Currently, many people who do little of any real value are receiving obscene incomes that are grossly unjust and a gross insult to conscientious, hard working people.
  8. Special tax free awards (that might take a person's income above the top limit) may be made for exceptional achievement or particularly meritorious conduct. Nominations for these awards and selection of the winners would be by a suitably transparent and public process.
  9. Promoting belief in supernatural entities or forces whose existence cannot be proven to the satisfaction of a panel of eminent scientists will be forbidden. The representation of accounts of doubtful authenticity (as judged by experts) as fact, ie. the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, will also be an offence.
  10. It will be the responsibility of the State to ensure that everybody can get a job and training appropriate to their abilities at all stages of their lives.
  11. Everybody employed in an organisation will have the right to participate in the management of that organisation if they want to. People employed specifically as managers will not be allowed to exclude everybody else from a share of this function in order to maintain a corrupt advantage. Everybody must be encouraged to take an interest in management, develop management skills and learn genuine management techniques (not the management fashions promoted by bogus gurus). Management has to be made a more subordinate function, it is largely a routine activity consisting of scheduling, progress chasing, prioritising, delegating etc., there is no reason for it to be particularly generously rewarded.
  12. Private companies will only be able to employ people who immediately become partners in the company and close family members of the partners. To be able to employ others they will have to become public companies. Nepotism has to be eliminated. It is intolerable for people to be at a hopeless disadvantage because they are not members of the family that owns and controls the organisation for which they work.
  13. The Public Schools will be brought into the state sector. All children, not just the children of the sordid rich, should have the enriching experience of attending one of our great, old schools. They might do this for one month of each secondary school year and full time in sixth form years or the schools might become sixth form colleges, colleges for particularly able students ie. those largely able to teach themselves, final year of schooling colleges, junior universities, colleges for children from deprived backgrounds, etc. but whatever they become, having prosperous parents won't be a qualification for entry.
  14. The emphasis of the education system will be changed to become the provision of affordable education throughout life to those motivated to take advantage of it rather than an obstacle course designed to ensure that children born into poor families are permanently excluded from job opportunities the prosperous classes want reserved for their children. In order to keep costs down, students will be expected to teach themselves to a greater extent rather than being spoon fed, this will enable them to proceed at their own pace and will make it easier to determine their aptitudes and abilities. The principle aim of the system will be to provide everyone with the knowledge or skills they need to earn a standard of living that is at least near to the average for the whole population, this should ensure that nobody has reason to become resentful and anti-social. Emphasis will also be placed on imparting moral values and developing civilised attitudes and behaviour.
  15. Bodies and groups such as the Trade Unions, Trade Associations, the Professions, Charities, Pensioners, Disabled People etc. will be allocated seats or blocks of seats in The House of Lords so that they can make their specialist expertise available and look after the interests of their members in Parliament.
  16. The professions will be regulated so that their closed shop mentality can be swept away and they can be made to serve the public rather than the narrow and corrupt interests of their members.

How to let the Party know your views on any political topic.

Use the Communication Form for all communication with the Party. It isn't necessary to be a Member of the Party to submit your views for publication, we aim to publish all points of view so that they can sink or swim according to their merit. However, if the volume of submissions becomes unmanageable, Members contributions will be given precedence and the access-to-all arrangement will have to be reviewed. Opinions that appear to be contrary to those of the Party, whether from members or non-members, are likely to be marked in some way to stimulate counter arguments.
