Use this form :-
- to submit your views on any political topic or challenge
any of the views already recorded, or for any other communication with the Party.
When submitting your political opinions :-
- Put the title of the topic (ie. Law
and Order/Drugs) on a separate line before your opinion, choose a new title for a new topic (although
we may decide to use a different one). If you are referring to an opinion that has already been
published, put it's paragraph number after the title.
- Do not repeat opinions that have already been recorded
unless you think you are expressing them in a better way,
in which case point this out. (It is quite possible that
the number of opinions received will be overwhelming and
dealing with them all will be impossible so, if yours
doesn't appear, this is the most likely reason. In time
we may be able to have separate sites for the most
popular topics.)
- Try to make one point at a time, clearly and succinctly
using a new paragraph for each point. The aim is to
classify the points made in debates according to their
validity, importance etc., hence the preference for
keeping them separated. However, this may not work out
very well in practice so, if you feel too constricted by
this preference or wish to do some classification,
prioritising and logical manipulation of several
arguments yourself, go ahead.
Contributions may be truncated or reworded for publication.
Grammatical and spelling mistakes will be corrected if spotted.
We aim to publish all opinions that have any merit so that they
can be properly assessed, however, it is likely to be some time
before we can do this quickly and efficiently due to lack of
resources. All contributions that are not scurrilous, insane,
unlawful, libellous, slanderous or beyond the pale are likely to
be recorded even if not published. If the same point is made by
more than two or three people it won't be attributed to any
individual. We will endeavour not to publish or record material
we think could become an embarrassment to the contributor.
